This page applies only to consumers resident in an European Union member state. It does not apply to business or trade customers, or to customers outside the EU. Where this page conflicts with any other part of our refund policy, this page takes precedence for EU consumers.
Your right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier), takes physical possession of the goods. Where an order is delivered in multiple shipments, the period runs from delivery of the last item.
How to withdraw
To exercise this right, inform us of your decision by a clear statement before the 14-day period expires. You may:
- Submit a cancellation or return request directly through your account: Manage your order and request a return or cancellation
- Email us at returns@aipelectronics.com
- Write to us at the postal address shown on our Contact page
You may use the model withdrawal form set out in Annex I(B) of Directive 2011/83/EU, but this is not obligatory. To meet the deadline it is sufficient that you send your communication before the withdrawal period expires.
You do not need a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) to exercise this right, and the 15% restocking fee described in our general refund policy does not apply to EU withdrawals.
Returning the goods
You must send the goods back to us without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before that 14-day period expires.
You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods. Return shipping from the EU to our facility in the United States is at your expense.
Refunds
We will reimburse all payments received from you, including the standard delivery cost, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision to withdraw.
Where you chose a delivery method more expensive than our cheapest standard delivery option, we will reimburse only the cost of the standard option.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is the earlier.
Condition of returned goods
You are entitled to examine the goods as you would in a shop. You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Parts that have been installed, fitted to a vehicle, wired in, or otherwise put into service go beyond such examination, and we may reduce your refund accordingly.
Your statutory rights
Nothing on this page affects your statutory rights in relation to goods that are faulty, damaged, or not as described. Where goods are defective, we bear the cost of return.
